Default elm leaf browning

I have a young Golden Elm (Ulmus procera) excuse the spelling; planted last
year. Some leaves are tinged with brown. Anyone know what this might be and
more importantly how to fix it. Location is Wellington, N.Z.
Many thanks, Brian
