Ferns

Hi, I have a number of Cyathea Cooperii ferns in my garden. Some I have planted myself and some have grown all by themselves without human intervention.

What I would like to know if anybody knows whether I can "strike" one of these ferns or if there is someway I can utilse the spores off them?

Thanks.

Catch the spores in a brown paper bag then sprinkle them over a tray of seed
raising soil mix, give a light water then wait. ;-)
