Default Chokos!

Can anyone tell me where I may buy a Choko plant or seeds? I'm in
melbourne, so if there is a local source, that would be great.

Tom.

My Dad has just done this -- you just buy a big, pale one from the
green-grocer and plant it stem-end down, with the top just about soil level
(they are very tough; it doesn't matter that much).

Dad's is already a metre up the netting; it took about a week.

There is also a white skin variety, both grow easily from the shooting vege
planted halfway into the ground. Keep a bit of the shrinking vege above the
ground to prevent rot. Keep an eye round the local area, the vine can take
over a fence, anyone with a plant will be happy to give you a few boxes.
They love water and will grow for years.
