Apparently the Cootamundra wattle (which I think is pretty!) is invasive

in
some places. Pittosporum is too, but I don't think it's very attractive.

Anything out of its normal area has the capacity to be a weed.
Corymbia torelliana is one of my favourite trees, but is native to FNQ
and
is a pest in Brisbane.....

well, they do say a weed is any plant you don't want in the spot it's in...
i suppose that covers all contingencies :-)

i'm still recovering from the fact my dad planted lantana.
incredible!!!!!!!!! yet, it actually doesn't get out of control in our area,
so i suppose looked at that way, he _didn't_ plant a noxious weed, he
planted a little flowering bush.
