Unsure of how to spell the plant name, so apologies there.

If I spray them with Roundup, will this get rid of them?

Any advice on how to eradicate Agapanthers would be most appreciated

Dig them up and sell them. A lot of nurseries will pay $2 or more per plant.

Tell me folks, will Roundup do the trick, or are those plants just too tough
for Roundup??

Thanks for your comments in advance.

i understand that nothing short of physically removing them, every shred (or
perhaps total nuclear annihilation) will work. whatever poison will work on
them is probably illegal by now :-) still, you could try roundup & see. just
don't get your hopes up ;-)

Yeah I know but theyre invasive, and a real pain to remove. My wife
changed her mind, but the aggies reckon they like it here.
All the road crews are planting them in the nature strip in the center
of roads. God will get them for that...

Yeah I know

no, no, i'm saying the pretty natives are better. (because they _aren't
invasive weeds like agapanthus can be).

Short answer: NO. Roundup will yellow the leaves, and generally make them
look unsightly for a period of time, but it won't kill them.

Apparently the Cootamundra wattle (which I think is pretty!) is invasive in
some places. Pittosporum is too, but I don't think it's very attractive.

Having experienced your problem I found the only way to remove them was to
cut them back & then dig them up; it took a couple of weekends but they are
gone.
cheers

Anything out of its normal area has the capacity to be a weed.
Corymbia torelliana is one of my favourite trees, but is native to FNQ and
is a pest in Brisbane.....

Not to me ... give me a beautiful native plant above the ugly agapanthus
any day.
