Default Radish

Hello All,
I have let some radish plants go to seed and now have found that most of the
seed pods have a hole made by some unknown insect. When the pods are opened,
most are filled with a mildew of some kind. Any ideas what insect bores
holes in radish seed pods and how to prevent this happening.

Regards
Anthony
