It's one of the best plants to talk to.
You just go into the garden, and say "ullo vera".

LMAO...my dad uses that line, oh, every other day. Must have listened to
your show. Or maybe great minds think alike. I blame it on excess
consumption of The Goons.

Old Goon Show line (sung to ... anybody know/remember the melody?). "I
talk to the trees ... that's why they put me away!"

LMAO...I remember him singing that one...and a whole lot of other weird
songs. Monty Python has a lot to answer for. The piano playing especially.

My favourite
"why are you in the piano?"
"I'm hidin'"
"Don't be silly. Hydin's been dead for years"

Or thereabouts. Seem to be my memory tells me it's from the battersead
pudding thrower episode, but again I might be wrong.

Can anyone beat *marrying* someone because of a mutual enjoyment of the Goons?

We now have two boys who we occasionally refer to as Bluebottle and Little Jim.

Good plan. Their fault for not being well informed. Anyway, they're probably
just jealous because they don't know what you're talking about.
