Default gum leaves mulching and fast break down

What is the groups opinion on how to expedite the break down of um leaves
that get mulched up by the lawn mower. As a consequence go into the compost
bin.
However bin now smells like a bottle of eucalyptus
thanks

Only thing I gotta say about that is to keep the compost bin moist; which is
darn hard to do in these drought conditions.

Also good on ya for mulching it up in the machine. If they are too big they
don't break down so easily or at all.
