planting vegies from seeds

Hi
Ok I have planted out carrots, lettuce, coriander & something else ( i need
to check ) by seed, so how do I go about separating them in particular
carrots.
I am in Perth - South.
Cheers
Sandra

I am not sure what you mean. Did you mix them all up or are you talking
about separating the individuals of each type? Did you plant them in the
ground or in seed trays/punnets?

yeh sandra?

are they all in the same planting tray whatever? i would imagine not,
me i'm a prefferer of buying seedlings that way i can get them when i
want them in the quantities i need.

carots as i understand it are better direct seeded into the garden
area where you want them, ok they may grow up looking like hair on you
head but you then thin them out the way i did it was to wait until you
had some sort of carot formed then thin them so you could use the
small carrot in someway. carrot seeds can be hard to germinate needed
a fair watering along the way.

with corriander when seedlings have at least their second leaves
formed fully then gently ease them apart and plant out or into large
pots.

keep us informed
