Default jacaranda tree in Canberra..will it flower

I think I have a large jacaranda tree in my garden. It has been bare
for months, and is now growing rows of tiny leaves like a Jacaranda.
iT NEVER FLOWERED - DOES THIS MEAN IT NEVER WILL?
It does have some remnant seed pods on it on some dead branches - does
this mean it has flowered once?
Or is there another tall tree which looks like a Jacaranda?
