Default Mango

I have two large mango trees in my backyard. Few days ago I took a
hanfull of leaves as a sample (attacked by some pests) to my local
nursery and they gave me PESTOIL- Insect control spray with active
constituent: 839g/l Petroleum oil to spray the tree as needed.
As they were not to confident in their answers I said I'll better check
the following:
Is it OK to spray my mango trees NOW in full blossom period with some
fruit up to 10 mm in size??
(if everything OK I'll have more fruit than a mango farm-never seen that
many on one tree).
Thanks!!!
