Tree roots invading sewer pipes
From research on the web it looks like Copper Sulphate or the herbicide
"dichlobenil" (2,6-dichlorobenzonitrile) are commonly used for killing roots in pipes without killing the rest of the tree. Does anyone know if either of these are allowed in Australia (Perth)? Mike |

I would imagine in these days of strict regulation that it would not be on the shelves if it was not allowed here. I guess the sewage authority would be the place to ask the question if you wanted absolute assurance. -- Regards ........... Rheilly Phoull |

No idea, but your sewerage authority probably has some advice on this one. -- Chookie -- Sydney, Australia (Replace "foulspambegone" with "optushome" to reply) "Life is like a cigarette -- smoke it to the butt." -- Harvie Krumpet |
