Default Looking to start a small bamboo field

Tim, visit the ABS website at www.americanbamboo.org
There you will find info to contact the Florida chapter of the ABS. I think
there is a Yahoo discussion group set up (by ABS members) for crafting
bamboo, so you may be interested in that.

Living bamboo culms should ideally be at least 3 years old so they won't
deteriorate so quickly after cutting for use in crafting and fences, etc.
Just don't use the previous year's growth for anything or disappointment
will ensue.

D.G.
