my bamboo is between 2 and 3 yrs old and the culms that came up last year on
both of my plants are about 15 feet tall, but they are leaning over . the
culms are tall but not stiff enough. only one plant sent up a new culm this
yr and it is about 20 feet tall and also leaning,., what can i do?

It is a maturity thing. It will get better with larger growth. There
will always be some leaning near the top, but as the growth gets
bigger it gets less noticeable. As the plant matures you will get
deeper rhizome putting up more stable and larger diameter culms.

My 2 year old Madake is in the 15'-20' range and my largest diameter
culm is about 1 1/4". That is a lot of stress on a plant that isn't
quite mature.
