Default moving bamboo clumps

Hi Group,

I would like to move some large Phyllostachys and
Semiarundinaria plants, !5-25ft, they have
finished making up this years culms and I wonder
what would be the best time to move them to a
different part of the garden?

Is a summer move ok?
I can water abundantly.

Should I move them in growth and water well or
should I await until growth slows in September, or
leave it until the winter?

I am ok with leaf drop.

Alan (In the UK).
