[IBC] What's Going On

The only problem was a very bad map from MapQuest. I did a demo on a Ficus
'Kiki' for a garden club in Utica. We got lost three times, but finally got
there in time for lunch. It was a very enjoyable session, since the club members
were already knowledgeable about design principles, plant growth, etc. It was
one of those cases of, find the bonsai in the middle of the mess. They got a
lot of cuttings to take home. The same tree will be wired next month at the
Mohawk Valley Bonsai Club.
Next week Bonsai Club of Central New York has its regular monthly meeting. We
are having an open workshop. Everyone brings a tree to work on.
Tomorrow, Bonsai Club/Broome County in Binghamton is having a Hypertufa
workshop.
