Default Coffee grounds

HI
did anyone use coffe grounds as adjunction to the soils for Bonsai
?
On the surface when dries acts oly and water runs over it like on
dry moss ..
but inside the soul as moistured shoudl be ok .
It could it be good as containing minerals ( it is a seed) and oily
principles and moreover is natural inexpensive acid and porous and not
sticky , could make the soil lighter allow the roots pass trought
easily and air as well as not clogging
I heard when kid that it was good against ants and pests carried by
them ..
but there is anyone left in the family by now that could help me

Any opinion ?
thanks
Theo
