[IBC] root thread graft

I decided to go ahead and do the thread graft (to improve the future of the
butress) to my acer palmatum using a maple seedling i found in the garden
the other day. I wanted to post pictures of it in the gallery... but i cant
seem to get a password to sign on to it... so i put pictures of the process
on a site if anyone is interesed..... I like it..... and hope it works
out... id more than welcome anyone's opinion :C ) this is the first time
i've done anything like this.... and it may have been a totally unnecessary
or out of proportion... since the roots are so much smaller.. im hoping
they will eventually blend in

Interesting, I hope you will cover more of the roots to let it develop if
this works.

You can provoke roots growth in different ways ( on maples) can put a toothpick
inside the trunk where you need theh roots to come out and add some growing hormons.
cower with moss . normally it should work.. you can make a cut like a fish
scale put some moss or a little stone inside add hormons and wait
or when you repot make a whole with a drill and pull inside a root you cut from
the same tree inside , watching that they fit well cover with cicatrizing glue
and wait this last one I have done once on a trident maple and it worked there
must few others also I guss
