Help Please
 

Hi Peeps

I wonder if any of you nice people out there can help me. I ordered my husband a Bonsai Tree for Christmas. It arrived today. As it has come in a box all wrapped up, do you think it will survive in here until Christmas day?
As you can imagine I don't want to give him a dead present on Christmas morning.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Oh, dear. That is not a good way to introduce someone to bonsai, but
what's done is done. Unwrap the tree immediately. If there are stones
glued to the soil, pry them off. If the soil is dry, water it
thoroughly, always from the top. Do you know what kind of tree it is?
Did it come with a label & instructions?
