I was given this Bonsai Plant as a gift. Unfortunately it did not come with an identification tag, so basically I do not know when to feed or re-pot the plant.

Can anyone help please?

Hi, If I had to make an educated guess I would say your bonsai tree is a Fukien Tea (Carmona microphylla). If it is, its a popular tree at garden centres, Homebase etc.. the good news is that particular tree is reasonably hardy for a bonsai.. From the photo it looks in pretty good shape, which is good news. I'd feed it with a diluted by half standard liquid fertilizer within the next few days, keep the soil damp and feed again in a month. I wouldn't think about repotting for another 18 months or so yet.
