Root cutts budding
 

I cut a root from a maple it is about 1 finger thick and has all
her small roots untouched ( plenty of ) .
I covered the cut with wax to avoid disidratation and put in a mix od
akadama an pozzolane ( as previously was) and l left half inch
outsite 9/10 are covered in the soil
I keep the soil moist and wet .. how long should it take for new
buds eventually burst out ?
