Default Ficus Retusa with black spot??

I have a Ficus Retusa that I recently had to move with me from New Jersey to
North Carolina. Before the move I was treating it for mites with a soapy
water mixture. I also ended up washing a couple earthworms out of the
bottom of the pot (too much watering?)

Anyway, when I got to NC, I noticed that the leaves started developing black
splotches that expanded on the leaves and started to spread to other leaves.
Some of the leaves began to blacken all over and curl.

I've tried to read everything I could, but I'm still not sure what to do.
Is this black spot? Is it root rot? More bugs? What probably caused this,
the change in humidity? Too much watering? So far I have cut off the
leaves that are severely effected and sprayed the plant with milk (mistake?
I was told that milk could help prevent the spread of black spot). Today
I'll probably pick up some fungicide.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Matt
