Seiju Elm
I have a Seiju that is several years old and doing fine. However, the second
branch up on the right is too thick, especially near the base. If I just cut it off, it will leave too big a gap. If I cut it off and leave the branch collar, will it grow a new, thinner branch in due course, or will it be too thin compared to the branches above it? The rest of the branches are about right.
