Default [IBC] Martha Stewart on "miniature bonsai trees" in today's paper

Another cultural ceiling pierced! Martha notes bonsai yield "full-size
enjoyment."

The Summerville crowd should be pleased that Serissa was listed third as a
recommendation-- just behind Aeonium.

Seriously, Martha appears to have a ghostwriter. (Who has been
moonlighting?)

BTW, Martha receives comments on articles at . I
think the writer did reasonably well except for recommending "potting mix"
layered over pebbles and sand as the soil component.

Best wishes,
Chris...

Ran in our paper Saturday. Do you think they'll give any PR to
our local bonsai club? Phoo!

I'm not sure of the print info from Martha, but she recently ran a 5 or 10 minute piece on bonsai with Saeko Brundage of Shanti Bithi nursery. They created maple forests together after which Martha seemed delighted to have "made her first bonsai."

Saeko told me it was quite an experience working with Martha.

I'd guess that she took her print info from info one of her researchers did for her.
