Actually, it got all the way up to 28 degrees here in central PA today.

We have had some unusual weather here. Several days continuously below zero last week (-18 C). We will probably pass our record snowfall this winter, 193 inches (4.9 M). My Thermo-Cube arrived, and it is making the sun porch more convenient. I don't have to worry about it getting too hot or too cold. Meanwhile I am grooming my tropicals for my annual Jewish Arbor Day exhibit next week. Iris, Central NY, Zone 5a, Sunset Zone 40 "If we see light at the end of the tunnel, It's the light of the oncoming train." Robert Lowell (1917-1977) |

I feel for y'all. Really, I do... Here in the Southern Hemisphere, I am *really* enjoying my second Summer in a row (happens when you move at the end of Summer in Savannah to mid Spring in New Zealand). Today, we spent a half day at the beach, with 28C (82F), letting the dogs romp in the brackish water of a small river going out into the ocean. I KNOW that it's all relative, but we're freezing our _ _ _ _ _ off here, too. +23 outside this morning.
