[IBC] Mail order source for Schilling's holly??
I am already sure min ehas not made it throught the winter!
If anyone knows a source for this plant-Ilex vomatoria "Schillings" please let me know by direct Email. It could be raw stock or semi-styled-in other words doesnt have to be from a "bonsai" supplier. Thanks Check local nurseries -- even Home Depot. I.v. 'S' is one of the most common nursery plants in this area, at least. You will get a MUCH larger, probably healthier, tree from a local nursery than you can by mail order; MUCH less through-the-mail trauma. A one-gallon plant by mail will be about half the size of a one-gallon plant in a local nursery. And, at the nursery, you probably can find five-gallon plants for the same price (plus shipping) as a one-gallon plant via mail or UPS. If there are no "local" nurseries, a 50-mile drive would still be more advantageous. Sorry to our nursery folks out there . . .
