Default [IBC] A reminder to snip

This is a perennial reminder to everyone to SNIP the junque from
the messages we respond to.

The case in point: the last answer to Colin's BCI magazine thread
had appended to it THREE copies of the sponsorship message that
appears at the bottom of every IBC post (in addition to an
annoying "Do you Yahoo!" plug that those unfortunate enough to
have to use Yahoo Mail find placed on the end of each of their
messages).

All of this takes up USELESS space in our archives -- space that
costs those who donate to support operation of the IBC. It also
is space that could be devoted to information about bonsai and it
means that I have to delete old archives that much sooner.
(Another month will vanish next week, BTW.)

Please, folks, snip away all unessential parts of old messages.

Thanks (yet again).

Default [IBC] A reminder to snip

Jim, and all others. I got this link from a friend. It helps clean up e
mails that have been forwarded again and again. I don't know how well it
cleans up useless headers from the previous recipients, but it does help
clean up and format sentances that are scattered all over the page. Just
thought I would share it with you.

This email was cleaned by emailStripper, available for free from
