Default [IBC] To cut or not to cut thatīs the question.

I just recived nr 93 of BT. Sometimes you are mazed of the intelligent
restyling of trees that the japanese do, sometimes you are not. The work
on the needle juniper on page 8 is just awful. The transition from an
interesting tree with great movement to something quite ordinary is sad
to see. It dosent get better when the artiest missed his goal. To get
rid of the straight cascading branch. IMHO ithe jin left still looks
straight, and now shortened that part looks heavy.

A tree that could need some restyling on the other hand is John Nakaīs
Goshin featured on the cover. It seem it just have been let to grow. The
left side with its few long and to heavy foliage clouds that doesnīt
harmonize with the rest of the tree looks odd. They really should be
shortened and divided in more layers.

Only goes to show there is a fine balance between doing to much, and
nothing at all.

Good morning or good evening depending upon your location. I want to ask you the most important question of your life. Your joy or sorrow for all eternity depends upon your answer.
