[IBC] Morikami Festival
 

This weekend (2/26-27/2005) is the Hatsume Festival at Morikami Japanese
Gardens in Delray Beach, FL.
There will be bonsai demonstrations and vendors as well as other programs and
vendors of Japanese culture.
The cost for admission is $10.
Check out www.morikami.org.
The Morikami also has a large permanent bonsai exhibit

And whether or not you go for the festival, the display --
mostly warm-climate trees -- is excellent at any time of year;
for those of you who are struggling with "tropicals" where
tropicals don't go, seeing these is enough to get you back to
Japanese black pine. :-)
