[IBC] turkey grit substitute
My experience with turkey grit here in the North East is that it is composed
of crushed white granite. Granite is ok, but the bright white particles look out of place with the brown earth tones of my soil. Reciently I've located a nearby source of brown blend crushed granite. Perfect size and no dust (no sifting). If response is high enough the business will make it available for bonsai soils. E-mail me off line if you are interested and I can relay the response tally. Shipping costs may be high as small amounts of this stuff is really heavy.
