Asian Persimmon question --- fruit drop

I have noticed that my one year old Japanese persimmon tree (FUJU)
experience major a fruit drop. Is this normal for the first year?
Or perhaps, it is something wrong?
There were a lot of little fruits few weeks ago, now there isn't hardly any
fruit left
on the tree. Could you experts in the forum give me some advise.
I live in Dallas, TX area.

Thanks in advance,

Asian Persimmon question --- fruit drop

This is normal Japanese persimmon behavior (it will probably do it every
year, not just the first one). It may not seem as though there is much
left, but when it starts to turn orange you may find there are more than you
realized. It's unusual for a one-year old persimmon to bear fruit (3-4 yrs+
is more like it), so if you get any fruit at all this year you'll be ahead
of the game. And just wait a few years--you'll be awash in fruit.
