Peaches problem
type peach borer into Google and then at top click on "images" it will show the sap
oozing out of the trees. Ingrid On Sat, 27 Jun 2009 12:53:28 -0600, "SteveB" wrote: My peach tree, I just noticed, has clear hard oozing sap coming from the peaches. Lots of them. Probably something (an insect) that likes peaches. Takes a bite and moves on to another one. Ever try tanglefoot at the lowest part of the trunk to keep them away from your peaches? Unless it is a flying beetle then you'll just have to share some of the sap with them. I bet you'll just have a few bumps in the ripened peaches. -- Bud |
