Hi, I am new to newsgroups. I have read some of the posts, but not
found exactly what I'm looking for. I have some plants - oregano,
rosemary, chives, basil, tomatoes, cucumbers that are already planted
in potting soil. I'd like to use an organic fertilizer on them,
preferably one for all, and without having to re-pot anything, but
have no idea what to use. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You can buy fish emulsion in garden centers. This is a
smelly liquid!

You would then dilute it with water according to the
directions on the package.

I am an organic gardener outdoors, but I use non-organic
plantfood for plants in the house as I don't want the fishy
smell in my house - and I don't want the cat attracted to my
plants and digging them up or eating them. I just buy a
balanced houseplant food for indoor plants.

You don't say where your plants are located.

fish emulsion is one, but smelly, Another is "Maxi Crop", don't know where you
get it.

You can also get concentrated seaweed extract and dilute it for use.
I have no idea about the nutritional content, but the plants seem to
love it, and it doesn't have an offensive smell like fish emulsion.

I have used 'epsoma' products for years. They are entirely organic by
intention. Stuff like 'plantone', rosetone', etc. Slow release,
non-burning, and don't smell like fish emulsion.
