What a mediocre questionnaire. I doubt the results will mean very much. If
this is an example of the effort that you put into your projects I doubt
that you will achieve much.

Your much too harsh David.

The person is up front - A multimedia STUDENT, given an assignment.
Are we too discourage those who are trying to learn new things.
Do you expect excellence on their first try?

I thought the survey was well put together in a nice format.
I suspect the results are not important to a multimedia student. It is
the web based format of the questionnaire that is important and good
grade. I give the person an "A" :)

However, just incase the student has a different motive, I had private
browsing and security settings on high.

I would expect the serious student to not ask an international audience
about UK/Ireland, to frame unambiguous questions and to spell check the
thing. I give it a C.

What... the web is suppose to be serious? All students must be serious?
You must be joking :)

I hereby "Dan L" declares "The Web and Usenet is for LEARNING, FUN and
ENJOYMENT for all nationalities!" If someone wants to be serious that is
OK also :) Either way the student gets a passing grade :)

'Students' should be serious or otherwise they are wasting their time and
their own or their parents money.

If you're an old fart and/os someone who is just using the web or usenet for
recreation then I'd agree with you. On students who are engaged in study
then I have very different thoughts.

Yes, I am old and decrepit :) Life is too short to be serious. In the
immortal words of King Solomon "Eat, Drink and be Merry". Gardening is a
recreational hobby that helps me physically and in spirit.

I have a Masters Degree in Computer Science. A waste of time and money.
I have learned much more from my own personal studies and in other
fields than in a highly structured university. Universities are like
cattle factories in producing a bland product. Professors are useless
creatures that uses whips and chains (grades and test) when it comes to
learning. I enjoy learning much more from a good book than taking a
highly structured class. Anarchism is better than order :)

All good and fine, we have much in common. For those who _are_ taking
formal courses they are wasting their time, someone's money and (if they
post questionaries here) our time if they don't put in some effort to get
the most from that imperfect process. That is what I meant by "serious" but
you already know that I think.
