Default strawberries

i was worried that i wasn't going to have a very good
season, but it has turned out better than expected so
i'm relieved and have enough freezer jam put up.

the strawberry patch i took out last season and
replanted ended up having about five plants still
living this spring and so instead of having berries
there i've planted it with beans for the season and
then later this year i'll move strawberry plants in
there to get it going again.

i transplanted the strawberries last fall so late
and the winter had so many freeze/thaw cycles that
the plants couldn't survive. the few that did are
looking good.
