Big radishes
I just harvest some that are at least twice as big as any I've seen at
the supermarket. I've never had much luck growing them. They usually go to seed without any of edible size. Well this year I was too lazy to pull them up. The volunteers sprouted last month and are now big, and crispy. So the secret to growing radishes around here must be grow them in the fall not the spring. |
