Plastic pots
Hi..
Anytime that one of my plants has arrived in a little plastic pot stuffed with that white packing stuff I have removed the pot as well as the white stuff. White stuff: The substrate in the pots _here_ is rock-wool If it were rock-wool too I would remove it completely and would rinse the plants and the roots before putting them into the tank. [Echinodorus] I have no doubt it will grow into a large and beautiful centerpiece, but the particular location I have in mind calls for a plant with more height than width. Height and width are influenced by substrate hight and its "outfit" depends on daily lightening duration, illuminance and temperature. -- cu Marco |
