Aquascaping Tools?

Hi All,

Im looking for a supplier of aquascaping tools. VERY LONG scissors to be
more exact. The longest I can find is 9 inch. I woudl like 24 inch if
possible. Ive looked through some surgical sites, and found a 9 inch set
for 150.00 - that was operation grade, i think floor grade would be better
:)

Any Thoughts ? Anyone have any sources for any other tools?

thanks

Dustin

Aquascaping Tools?

I'm lucky enough to NOT have an overly deep tank, so I use my thumbnail... I
DO however have a small pair of scissors, that can fit into the palm of your
hand, so when necessary, i can palm them down to be used in tight
quarters....

Don't know about 24" but you can get a decent set from several online
souces including drsfostersmith.com for about $35
Includes tweezers, sissors and a 'spatula'.

Aquascaping Tools?

Dustin,
Take a look at this
http://www.globeaqua.com/new/product.../gardener.html
I picked one up off eBay and love it. It has interchangeable needle nose
pliers and a stainless steel cutter. So far it has worked fine with anything
in my tank that I have needed to do.

Hope this helps,
Ron

I just took some pictures of the clippers and put them up on my site in case
anyone else wanted to get a better look at them.
http://www.netgods.net/~rdn2/the75/clippers/ Just click on the thumbnail to
see a big picture. Last time I was at Petsmart I saw these for sale near the
live plants also.

Here's a link to scissors and tweezers for aquascaping. They are not 24
inch, but are a couple of inches longer than what you've got.
