Pets Warehouse update
The U.S. District Court recently held a status conference in Novak's
original Federal lawsuit. A transcript of this hearing is now available. It reveals quite a lot about the nature of the lawsuit and the Court's perceptions about what is happening. A copy of this transcript is available at URL http://petsforum.com/psw/docket/docket55.pdf For those of you who are not aware of what is going on here, some time ago I received really bad service from Pets Warehouse. After complaining to the company and sharing my experiences on the Aquatic Plants email list, myself and others who publicly spoke up about their bad service were sued for $15,000,000. Read about it at http://petsforum.com/psw . You might also wish to peruse the ongoing conversation about the case; search for the "Discuss the Lawsuit" link at the bottom of http://petsforum.com/psw . dan -- Dan Resler email: Computer Science Dept. What about the sentence that starts "I think your conduct, Mr. Novak.."? Cheers, Ross-c |

I think even the judge is hinting that Novak will release useless corporate
information to the public on request of information from the defendants in order to sue them for breach of contract. Can someone take this guy out(Novak) to pasture already (*cough* enlightenment through doing real farm work) and save everyone this waste of time and money. "Ross Clement" wrote in message ... The matter in this document would be a two minute issue if the intent was to
produce legitimate proof. Buying his own free time versus defendant lawyer time is not sophisticated at all as alluded to by the judge. It is a stall tactic to settle and or drive up court costs. I personally would like to see legally staffed firms go the distance. "Dan Resler" wrote in message ... The U.S. District Court recently held a status conference in Novak's original Federal lawsuit. I personally would like to see legally staffed firms go the distance. I didn't understand a word of what you are trying to get at here... Two of the defendants are represented by a lawyer, the rest of us are representing ourselves, and two of the defendants are lawyers themselves. If you read inbetween the lines of this transcript, you can imagine there is much that will come to light that Novak wants very much to keep off the public record. As far as going the distance...all of us defendants still active are going the distance. We have no reason not to. We all smell blood. Robert H |
