Default Referal plant

When I was looking at my tank this morning, wondering weather the
plants was doing OK, pretty good or great, I got an idea.

Maybee this idea has been tryed already.

The ting is, in the hobby there should be one or a few "referal
plants". This/theese have to be:

1. Fast growing
2. Hardy
3. Easy to identify
4. Easy to obtain, a "run of the mill" plant

Then, when you can refer to other aquarists around the world, it will
be possible to "grade" your tank according to the growth per day/week,
plant color etc.

Does this sound "doable"?

SEE YA !!!
