Araceae Plant Troubles

I'm having troubles with this moderately leaved plant...a patch of
transperancy will appear on a leaf and will expand...which within a day or
two completely kills the leaf. Anybody know what's happening....from 8
leaves to 3 leaves....

Araceae Plant Troubles

David, this could be a number of things, this happens alot with my swords...
I have found that incorrect water balances can contribute to this (i.e. not
enough, *or* too much iron in the water), I have also noticed that too much
water motion around the plants can also cause this (although I am not sure
why)...

Anyway, I would recommend simply pruning that particular leave/stem when you
notice the diameter of the translucent spot getting to be bigger than a 1/3
inch or so..

(And make sure to check your ph, ammonia, nitrate, and most importantly, CO2
levels)
