Default sword babies, how to plant?

I have a sword the put out a stem with swordlets. When and how do I go
about planting these babies. There doesnt appear to be any root at this
point. The stem had been present for about 2 weeks now and the leaves are
growing daily and there are about 3 babies.
thanks.

"Many species of swords produce plantlets when they send up a flower stalk.
The plantlets can be removed and planted when they have several roots."

What kind of flower staulk? Are the plantlets in the air or in the water?

My sword has put up a staulk with 3 branches at the water line. The ends
seemed to get "burned" at the glass under the lights. I have opened up one
side of the glass to see what happens.
