Are solenoids and solenoid valves the same thing?

No, Solenoid is the coil that activates the valve electrically, solenoid

Thanks guys...
I am looking at the regulator, etc Custom Aquatics is offering (made by Milwaukee). This is the product description: "CO2 Regulator with needle valve, solenoid valve, and bubble counter. Dual gage regulator displays output pressure and bottle pressure. Standard American CO2 bottle connection." http://www.customaquatic.com/customa...tID=co&brandID =MK# It is $20 cheaper than another site I found the exact same set-up. Is that what I'm looking for to attatch to a tank to be off and running? Thanks, John |
