Default CO2 high pressure question

Are solenoids and solenoid valves the same thing?

Thanks,
John

No, Solenoid is the coil that activates the valve electrically, solenoid
valve is the whole assembly

But if someone is selling a CO2 setup with "a solenoid", it's probably
a solenoid valve.....

So, while technically they are different, they are probably referring
to the exact same thing.

Default CO2 high pressure question

Thanks guys...
I am looking at the regulator, etc Custom Aquatics is offering (made by
Milwaukee).

This is the product description:
"CO2 Regulator with needle valve, solenoid valve, and bubble counter. Dual
gage regulator displays output pressure and bottle pressure. Standard
American CO2 bottle connection."
http://www.customaquatic.com/customa...tID=co&brandID
=MK#

It is $20 cheaper than another site I found the exact same set-up.

Is that what I'm looking for to attatch to a tank to be off and running?

Thanks,
John
