Default GE Sunshine bulbs too greenish

Hearing good things about the GE Chroma 50 Sunshine bulbs I decided to buy a
few. I plugged them in to my 48" light fixture and have noticed that they
are not as bright as my PowerGlo bulbs. They put a greenish tint on
everything...which is fine for the plants but it renders the fish colorless.
The PowerGlo bulbs give a bright bluish purple clear light into the
tank...accurately displaying fish colors. I have heard many people compare
PowerGlo to the C50,...and say that C50 is better. Why is this? They do not
compare in color or brightness at all!

Confused (wanting to spend the much less price tag of the C50 compared to
the PowerGlo),

Dave
