Paul,

You'll have to divulge as much information about your tank as you can,
before anyone can say what's wrong...

All test readings, temp, size, light and duration, cleaning routine, water
values, tank and tap.... alot of stuff..

Was kinda hoping someone could identify the algae, then I could take it

from there. Thanks.

but you'd then be back asking how to fix it, after you find out that it's
not always as simple as identifying it... to know it is one thing, to remedy
it, is sometimes many times harder.... thus the need for details... but what
do I know....

www.google.com use it for what you search for... it's there...

More than I, I'm sure.(Seriously, no sarcasm meant here) I may be back for

help in getting rid of it, but know enough to have info for that, just
haven't got all the info yet. Anyway, Looks like beard algae. Thanks.

seems like all algaes are a chemical imbalance between water and plants, and
even fish load....

thus the water parameters...

Some say trace elements are needed for plants to absorb all nutrients from
water... in other cases of algae, you may be missing only one and it's off
balance, and I think beard algae is that one...

CO2 means alot to getting rid of algae... i use pressurized CO2 and I've
never had an algae problem.... 2 years, *knocking on wood* and no algae,
anywhere..
