Default T5 lights

Does anyone have experience of these T5 units?
I'm thinking of replacing my T8s.

There has been some discussions of these lights on a couple of the
forums I frequent. The people that have used them love them. But
since they are not widely available here in the US I have no personal
experience with them. They are reputed to be a better light source
than compact fluorescent lights and much better than normal T12 or T8
bulbs.
