Default looking for attaching plant...

Can anyone out there point me to a plant that attaches to rocks, but is
not java moss?

The java fern seems to be a bit tall for my purpose, although I do like
it. Is there a compact variety? Is there any other similar plants that
grow more compact?

I do not want to have to artificially attach a plant like riccia
fluitans. I have high light in my tank, and none of my plants seem to
have any problem reaching their potential, and I'd like to retain my
current light levels, so also want to avoid manipulating growth via
light levels.

Please reply by email, and remove "stopper" from the address...

Thank you.

Anubias nana is low growing and can be attached like java fern. Java moss is
a nother possibility.
There are quite a few aquatic ferns, bolbitus comes in quite a few flavors
and many of them don't grow as tall as java fern.
