If I buy 20 oz CO2 tank, how long will it last?

Can't equate what a 20oz tank does versus my 5lb tank, but mine lasts me
atleast 3-4 months, up to 6 months even, and it's on a 29g tank, so I would
venture a guess that a 20oz would last less than a couple weeks, if 2 weeks
at all...

Depends on the size of your tank and the bubble rate. For my 55 gallon
tank, it would last about 2 months.

Wow, I have a 29 gallon tank, and a 5lb tank lasts me for a year. I'm
using an Eheim cermic diffusor that is supposed to ineffeicient. What
concentration of CO2 are you running in your tank?

abundance...

I shoot for 15-20ppm CO2....

My 5lb last for 5 months @ 90 bubbles per minute. I am using home depot
"cheapo" needle valve.

The pH fluctuates based on a steady flow of CO2? I guess if your water
supply changed in terms of KH that could happen.

My water is pretty stable year round at KH 5, and I keep my tank at pH
7.0 to 6.8, giving me ~23-15 ppm CO2, similar to yours.

The 20oz tanks are commonly used for paintball.
Standard regulators will not fit a 20oz tank.
