Some kind of bug on top of my plants

I did not notice before, but now it seems like I have some kind of bugs on
top of the leves of my floting plant, the same kind is on the glass of the
aquarium. It seems like it is not going down into the water, just on top of
the water. They are abouth 1mm yellow/red or smaller, difficult to see them
wery clear. when I tried to squeese them they just jump away. They can
"walk" on the water.

Someone got anny qlue what it is, how I can get rid of them ?

Can't recall the name of the insect. But maybe you would want to remove the
plant for a while and let the fish enjoy them.

That would be interesting to try, but I don't belive my fishes bother abouth
them. These bugs realy are small and the fishes doesn't seem to see them,
and how abouth these on the aquarium glass above watherline, my fishes
doesn't jump for nothing.

Maybe you can attach a photographs so that we would have a better
understanding. But then again, 1mm is very small. You can probably try
wiping them off and netting them. Are they first spotted after the addition
of new water plants? And they do walk/hop and not float around.. right. You
might want to seek help elsewhere such as the forum at
http://www.thetropicaltank.co.uk/

They're springtails, members of the order Collembola, a type of very
primitive wingless insects. Very common. They feed on decaying plant
matter. I'm afraid I have no clever way of getting rid of them

Sounds crazy but a blowtorch on the low setting (just a lazy yellow
flame). Just run it quickly over the surface of the water. The plants
won't get hurt because they have sutch a high water content. IIRC
springtails don't really hurt anything... aphids on teh other hand ...
