Before pics posted in binaries
 

I'm going to explain what I am attempting...

When I had some BBA and some plant die-off, I decided to stock this tank
with as many plants as I could to get them to grow, then when the time was
right, I was going to re-do this tank and show the before and after.

Well, there is the before... I'll post the after in a few weeks...after I
get back from vacation.. don't want to mess with them until I get back....

The plants are going crazy... the anacharis I got, was only 10" tall 1 week
ago, now it's nearly doubled and split 4 times over. The Java Fern has
taken over the floor, the hornwort has been doubled 2x in 1 week, the
anubias stuck over in the right hand corner is actually 4" off the floor,
held up by rocks to give mom and dad krib a place to escape the neons and
baby kribs...

There is a few sprigs of wysteria that I kept, that weren't covered in algae
from my "cannot sustain wysteria" problem... they're doing ok while being
shaded, which is what I thought the problem was, but it wasn't... lack of
CO2 is the reason for ALL Algae I think.... since I refilled 2 weeks ago,
little to NO algae since.... good thing.

The plan is to take a piece of driftwood that's been soaking in another
tank, attach some javafern and anubias to it, sewing thread, and arranging
things to cover up the hardware in the tank.... the hornwort will do great
things and the anacharis will cover the filter intake tube....the BIG ole
anubia will be split and placed on each end of the driftwood, with the java
ferns situated all around it, corners and edges.... outlining it persay...
I've got more flourite to put in there to give it some depth....
